About Me

About Me

I didn't start as a florist.

My background is in neuroscience , years spent in research, working with data, structure, and precision. It was a world that trained me to observe carefully, think deeply, and pursue clarity.

But life shifted.

After moving to Seattle and stepping away from my research career to focus on family, I found myself drawn outdoors , starting with a small garden. What began as a way to pass time slowly became something more. I started growing flowers, learning their rhythms, and bringing them indoors.

From garden to vase.

That quiet, daily practice became a turning point. I realized I was still working with structure and form , just in a different language. Flowers offered something I hadn't experienced before: a balance between control and spontaneity, softness and strength.

That's how Wave & Form Botanical was born.

To deepen my practice, I began formal training through the Floral Design Institute, studying both technical foundations and design principles. My work is influenced by natural movement, seasonal materials, and a belief that floral design should feel alive , not overly arranged, but thoughtfully shaped.

Today, I create floral pieces for everyday spaces, intimate gatherings, and meaningful moments.

Always guided by nature.

Always searching for balance.
